According to the Logitech’s claims this speaker should allow you to enjoy rich a full sound as well as a nice sleek design that will work with either your notebook or your pc but let’s see what the consumer’s say.

While these speakers do look pretty nice sitting next to a desktop or a laptop – you are going to get what you pay for. They have been said to be too bright, sounding a little tinny. The bass below 120 hz is almost nonexistent. The midrange appears fairly accurate and smooth. They are better than other speakers I have heard in this price category, but not comparable to many $20+ speakers. There is some random humming that goes on – even when the speakers are not connected to the computer and I can’t exactly figure out why. I expected some humming at this price range but not to this extent.

The manual to these speakers seems to be a little confusing to the consumer as well. It mentions a green and a pink plug but there only seems to be a green plug and that is what you plug into the computer from the speakers to make them work.

Basically as you have probably figured this speakers are a good choice if you have a really crappy sound from your computer,you want to hear a little better but you don’t need to be blown away by the sound. These are also very helpful if you are on a strict budget. If you’re in a dorm or a similar situation then these might be a good pick for you.

These speakers are on the lower end of cost and this may draw many people to take a second look at them when going down the list of speakers they may consider. If the speaker does not give you the sound that you need then it doesn’t matter how little it costs though does it now? Thankfully these speakers do allow for a pretty good listening experience. Most reviews are 5 stars on the sound and the kids like the fact that the neighbors can hear their xbox booming half way down the street. I’m not too sure what the neighbors think of this however.

There are some other great features that come with these speakers. One of my favorites is the integrated stowaway cradle. All you have to do is slide out the cradle on the control pod if you want to charge,sync or play your digital music player. The only con people found with this feature was the fact that it does not come with an Ipod. lol This control panel also has the headphone jack.

The subwoofer has a separate volume control unlike some other speakers and this can come in handy if you like to tweak your sound. I personally don’t touch any of the settings on my speakers because I will most likely make things worse – not better.

The speakers also have a nice look. They aren’t big and bulky and won’t be getting in your way since their dimensions are a nice size :

The subwoofer is a 4 inch down firing subwoofer. I’m really not sure what that means but it’s another piece of information that I found – thought you might want to know. There are many more people that are more technical than myself.

Anyway… these speakers are a nice buy. They offer some good sound for a reasonable price and if you are like me,you’re on a budget! I don’t want to sacrifice my sound and entertainment experience but I also do not wish to kill my poor wallet either.

FDD2 ( Frequency directed dual driver ) satellite technology will allow you to enjoy a uniform sound field that is full and rich. If you are looking to invest in new speakers I can only imagine that you want to enjoy some great sound from those speakers.

The real time bass equalization will maximize the bass response while minimizing distortion – unlike many speakers they will not crackle and mess up your music just when you are getting into a great song!

The subwoofers are ported in design and displaces more air – this gives you deeper bass. If you are like me you enjoy listening to some good bass. I usually turn mine up as loud as it can go. That may be why I had busted speakers before I understood how much certain speakers could take. lol

If you are buying these speakers for you kids – they have headphone jacks! How great is that? You can either keep their sound in or if you are the one listening to the speakers it will be able to keep the noise of the others out. I usually invite in a high quality pair of headphones so these speakers and some great headphones will definitely allow you to enjoy your tunes.

The controls for the master volume and the subwoofer level are placed for convenience and you’ll be able to reach them quickly in case you hear a hollering child in the background. Mine usually can be heard over – just about anything but sometimes it’s helpful to turn it down. lol

Before I had my kids I could easily have my speakers down on my desktop but now everything has to be up and out of the way. That is an easy transition if you have these speakers. All you have to do is rotate the stands to have them go from desktop to wall!

This speaker system has some great features but are they right for you? Think about what you need in a speaker system and then you can make an informed decision.
